About the role#
As a DPD Tech Intern, you will work directly with the Quality Manager to develop and implement systems that ensure our products meet customer requirements. This role is based in our Garden Grove manufacturing facility and involves a mix of technical documentation and visual aid creation. This is a paid, full-time internship with a duration of 3 to 6 months.
What you'll do#
- Provide, implement, and administer masking instructions and visual aids throughout the facility.
- Create and manage file structures for new and existing documents, including customer blueprints and work instructions.
- Use CATIA to create model-based visual aids.
- Interpret customer-supplied purchase orders and work instructions.
- Take and edit photos to support masking instructions.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CATIA.
- Ability to read multiple types of blueprints.
- Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Majors in Computer, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering are preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Garden Grove, California.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- This position requires access to technical data regulated by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), so verification of ITAR compliance is required.
