About the role#
The Labor Systems team builds applications to manage workload, scheduling, time, and deployment for Disney operations. This full-time internship runs from January 2027 through June 2027. You will work on both strategic and tactical challenges to support the Cast experience.
What you'll do#
- Support the sustainment of existing labor systems, applications, tools, and databases.
- Assist with reporting solutions and ongoing capital and local projects.
- Take on tasks based on your individual strengths and your interest in learning new technologies.
- Work on projects ranging from database design to frontend web development.
What you'll need#
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a focus on systems and processes.
- Ability to partner and influence leaders at all levels.
- Basic understanding of computer science, data, and reporting fundamentals.
- Familiarity with at least one object-oriented programming language.
- Experience with visualization and reporting tools.
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university as a Junior or Senior in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Operations Management.
Location & details#
- Location: Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Requirements: You must be at least 18 years old, have unrestricted work authorization, and provide your own reliable transportation to and from work. You must also be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines.
