About the role#
The Walt Disney World Resort is seeking a creative communicator to support the Communications & Public Affairs department and the Executive Communications team. This role focuses on developing graphics, social media content, and presentation templates. You will create written and visual materials that help senior leaders connect with Cast Members, business partners, and external audiences. This is a full-time, paid internship running from January 2027 through June 2027.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to executive communications strategies and support the planning of programs and events.
- Design presentations and create various forms of written communication, including scripts and correspondence.
- Film and edit videos for social media channels and design graphics.
- Collaborate with the team to tell stories and build relationships with partners across the company.
- Assist with the preparation and facilitation of executive presentations and engagement tactics.
- Provide general administrative support.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, English, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- A portfolio of written and visual work is required for your application.
- Proficiency in design, photo editing, and Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Experience creating presentations in Canva, Apple Keynote, or Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Expertise in capturing and editing content for Instagram and LinkedIn.
- Ability to write effectively using AP Style with minimal editing.
- Strong project management and critical thinking skills.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to handle confidential information.
- Comfortable working in both Mac and Windows environments.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess unrestricted work authorization.

- Location: Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 2027 to June 2027).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Pay: $23.00 per hour.
