About the role#
Process Engineer Co-Ops support daily manufacturing operations and product development. You will work on-site to assist engineers with process audits, troubleshooting, and project implementation. This role is a paid, full-time position for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Perform process definition audits and file the necessary documentation.
- Participate in root cause analysis exercises and assist in trials.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects focused on safety, scrap reduction, and productivity.
- Design fixtures and gauges, including the completion of Gauge R&Rs.
- Create Job Breakdowns and One Point Lessons to assist in training manufacturing associates.
- Support product development by brainstorming ideas, creating drawings, and testing prototypes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an engineering degree program.
- Pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering.
- Experience with statistical analysis and data collection.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
- Experience using CAD software like AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
