About the role#
This 10-week summer internship places you within one of our specialized engineering teams, including Design, R&D, Controls, Manufacturing, or Enterprise Improvement. You will work alongside industry professionals on real-world projects to support material handling systems and conveyor technology. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
What you'll do#
- Design innovative conveyor systems and material handling solutions.
- Conduct product testing to validate designs and ensure safety standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in design and production.
- Collaborate on CAD designs and research activities to improve technologies.
- Monitor waste and non-value-added activities to enhance efficiency.
- Oversee project timelines and maintain detailed engineering documentation.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an engineering degree program, specifically Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Aerospace, or Environmental Engineering.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with design and production teams.
- Readiness to engage in research and testing to advance conveyor technology.
- Capability to track project milestones and maintain accurate technical records.

- Term: Summer 2027 (May 24 to July 30).
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
