About the role#
As an Electrical Design Engineering Intern, you will work with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, and systems engineers. You will support the design and development of automation solutions from concept through production. This role provides hands-on experience with real-world engineering challenges while contributing to measurement and analytical instrumentation.
What you'll do#
- Capture circuit schematics and perform simulations using industry-standard electrical design tools.
- Perform electronic testing with laboratory equipment like oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators to troubleshoot and validate designs.
- Evaluate systems and electronic circuits at the component and functional block level to understand architecture and performance.
- Research and develop new ideas, tools, and technologies to contribute to product innovation.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- A GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. Please note that sponsorship is not provided for this position.
- Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Zero years of applicable experience required.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, on-site internship.
- You will work out of one of our Minnesota locations in Shakopee, Chanhassen, or Eden Prairie.
