About the role#
This Co-Op position is part of our motor research group in Greenville. You will gain practical experience by supporting operations and working on electric motor research and development. This includes emerging technologies, prototypes, and unconventional test setups. You will help accelerate next-generation motor technology by designing innovative testing solutions and developing advanced control systems.
What you'll do#
- Perform tasks as directed to gain hands-on experience.
- Design and execute motor testing solutions.
- Develop and assemble control systems.
- Conduct power systems analysis and electromagnetic application work.
- Correlate test data.
- Handle drive tuning and design.
- Design test setups.
- Collaborate with team members to share information and provide project updates.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in Electrical Engineering in the United States.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
- Critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop solutions.
- Ability to organize tasks to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects at once.
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.

- Location: Greenville, South Carolina.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Residency requirement: Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the office location.
- Employment type: Full-time, paid position.
- Pay range: $20 to $34 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
