About the role#
Emerson is seeking a Data Analytics Intern to join our team in Shakopee, Minnesota. This position offers hands-on experience with technology, data analytics, and process automation within an industrial setting. You will support Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) initiatives by helping integrate systems and improving operational effectiveness through data-driven solutions.
What you'll do#
- Support EHS technology and data initiatives by assisting with system integration projects.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to track performance and compliance.
- Analyze and mine data from multiple business systems to identify trends and provide recommendations.
- Assist with workflow automation projects to improve efficiency and reduce manual administrative tasks.
- Participate in the testing, validation, and documentation of business processes and system enhancements.
- Collaborate with EHS, Operations, and IT teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) on-site.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
- Zero years of related experience required.
