About the role#
As a Lifecycle Service Co-Op, you will work on projects that support a global parts and services business. You will build tools, analyze real-world data, and improve how teams operate. This role involves taking ownership of projects from initial idea to launch, including user feedback, testing, and improvements.
What you'll do#
- Identify opportunities to use machine learning or AI to reduce repetitive manual tasks into digital tools.
- Collaborate with pricing and parts teams to streamline and automate key processes.
- Use data, AI/ML, and analytics to uncover insights and improve data quality.
- Develop tools to estimate service and parts opportunities across regions and industries.
- Analyze complex datasets to support business decisions and identify growth opportunities.
- Collect feedback on current tools and develop a project management strategy for future work.
- Create and automate test plans to ensure high quality releases.
- Document development work and provide a roadmap for future initiatives.
- Support key focus areas including leadtime support, annual price increase automation, and Shutdown, Turnaround, and Outage (STO) maintenance event tools.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to contribute in a team environment.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Experience with Java and Microsoft Windows programming.
- Junior or Senior standing is preferred.
