About the role#
Emerson is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineering Intern to join our team in Boulder, Colorado. You will work with the Product Security team to strengthen the security of our product portfolio and support regulatory compliance initiatives. This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship that offers hands-on experience in a professional engineering environment.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the Product Security team to enhance cybersecurity across Emerson products.
- Assist in the development and implementation of secure coding practices.
- Support efforts to meet regulatory compliance requirements.
- Participate in agile development processes and contribute to secure software or firmware development.
- Communicate findings and recommendations through writing and verbal presentations.
- Engage in empathetic thinking to understand user and stakeholder needs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors program for Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
- A GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Student-level proficiency in a programming or scripting language, such as C, C++, Python, or PowerShell.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) in-person.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

- Compensation: $24-$28 per hour, depending on year in school and experience.
