About the role#
Fenner Precision Polymers is hiring an IT Cybersecurity Analyst Intern for the summer of 2027. Based in Lititz, Pennsylvania, this full-time, paid internship places you within the IT Infrastructure team. You will report to the IT Manager for Infrastructure and Tech Delivery while working alongside our IT Endpoint Configuration and Security Analyst.
What you'll do#
Your primary focus is the continuous improvement of our cybersecurity initiatives. You will work with IT and business stakeholders to update security policies and procedures, ensuring they align with business needs and comply with CIS controls and Michelin guidelines. You will also look for ways to automate security workflows and ensure policies are followed across the organization.
Beyond your core duties, you will participate in a cross-functional intern project. The internship includes professional development activities, community outreach, and a final project presentation delivered to our executive leadership team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Computer Science, MIS, or related degree program.
- A genuine interest in cybersecurity.
- Proven ability to write clear policies.
- A working knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
- The ability to understand how different parts of an IT ecosystem interact.
- A strong capacity to learn new topics and apply that knowledge to your work.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with others.
