About the role#
FSB Architects + Engineers is offering a hands-on summer internship for electrical engineering students. You will work alongside licensed engineers and designers on active building projects, including hangars, commercial buildings, and healthcare facilities. This role focuses on applying classroom knowledge to real-world electrical systems.
What you'll do#
- Assist with electrical system design and documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Support the design of power distribution, lighting, lighting controls, and low voltage systems.
- Perform basic electrical calculations and help with load analysis, equipment selection, and system sizing.
- Support the development of construction documents, electrical plans, one-line diagrams, schedules, and technical deliverables.
- Collaborate with architecture, mechanical, structural, and fire protection teams to understand how electrical systems integrate into building designs.
- Learn how to apply the National Electrical Code and other design standards to projects.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for electrical engineering at an ABET accredited institution.
- Ability to work on-site in Oklahoma City for the duration of the summer.
- Strong skills in communication, organization, problem solving, and collaboration.
- Basic familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, or similar design software is preferred.
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn from experienced professionals.

- Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- This is a paid internship.
