About the role#
As an Operations Support Intern, you will support our team in maintaining and monitoring telecom network services. You will gain hands-on experience in incident response and service assurance while working alongside experienced engineers. This role focuses on ensuring network availability and meeting performance targets.
What you'll do#
- Develop automation for maintenance tasks using Python, Linux Bash, Groovy, and Java.
- Monitor network alarms and events using operational tools and escalate issues to the appropriate teams.
- Support the incident management process by tracking tickets and assisting with troubleshooting.
- Analyze logs, alarms, and performance metrics to identify potential service issues.
- Contribute to process documentation, playbooks, and dashboard improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Help build artificial intelligence use cases to improve operational predictability.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Telecommunications.
- Minimum 2.7 GPA or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Python, Linux Bash scripting, Groovy, and Java.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals including IP, TCP/UDP, DNS, and routing.
- Familiarity with Linux or command-line environments.
- Ability to document findings clearly and communicate effectively within a team.

- Term: Summer 2027 (12 weeks).
