About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience in the strategic and logistical sides of marketing and event management. You will focus on planning, execution, and performance tracking. This is a full-time, 12-week position based in Plano, Texas, starting May 25, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital and physical channels.
- Coordinate campaign assets, timelines, and stakeholder communications.
- Manage campaign calendars and activation workflows.
- Create content including customer emails, blog posts, and videos.
- Develop workshop materials and assist with database management and audience segmentation.
- Monitor campaign performance using analytics tools and track marketing KPIs.
- Prepare press materials, briefs, and fact sheets for external PR campaigns.
- Work with the events and experience team on face-to-face engagements.
- Maintain relationships with journalists and media outlets while tracking media coverage.
What you'll need#
- Active full-time enrollment in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program in Marketing, Business, Communications, or Event Management.
- A minimum GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Technical fluency with social media platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram.
- Curiosity about AI and openness to using AI-assisted tools.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Familiarity with event planning, marketing platforms, or project management tools is a plus.
