About the role#
The Marketing/Communication Intern will join a global team focused on wireless communications, advanced video technologies, and artificial intelligence. This position offers the chance to collaborate with engineers, licensing experts, and specialists to identify news and thought leadership opportunities. The intern will contribute to integrated marketing, communications, and government affairs programs.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the execution of comprehensive communications and content for strategic campaigns.
- Support social media engagement to amplify the company voice in wireless, video, and AI.
- Prepare internal communications, including newsletters and news summaries.
- Copyedit technical papers.
- Draft talking points, speeches, and contributed articles for senior executives.
- Support the design and development of internal and external presentations.
- Provide event management support.
- Participate in developing content and media relations strategies for public affairs efforts.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a 4-year degree, with preference given to students in their final year of undergraduate or graduate studies.
- Excellent writing skills and high intellectual curiosity.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- A creative, positive, and high-energy approach to new technologies and emerging trends.
- Ability to balance self-management with virtual management.
- Relevant academic background in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or Media Studies.
Location & details#
- Location: Washington, District of Columbia.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 16 hours weekly, specifically on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays.
- Compensation: $17 hourly.
- Employment type: Paid internship.
