About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to contribute to the delivery of global training programs. You will work with subject matter experts to ensure course and exam materials are accurate, clear, and consistent for a diverse audience. Your work supports the improvement of content revision and publication processes.
What you'll do#
- Identify and correct errors in program content delivered to global customers.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to clarify complex or confusing sections of course and exam materials.
- Design and implement standardized formats for lab diagrams and PowerPoint presentations.
- Update PowerPoint files to match established templates.
- Review exam questions for grammar and clarity.
- Proctor exams for candidates.
- Develop new processes to improve how content is revised and published.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree or diploma program in Arts, Communications, English, Rhetorical Writing, Technical Editing, Technical Writing, or a related field.
- Experience in technical editing.
- Strong English language and editing skills.
- Thorough attention to detail.
- Proficiency with MS Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience with illustration or video editing software is an asset.

- Location: Ottawa, Ontario, Canada (Hybrid).
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 4th to April 16th, 2027).
- Employment type: Full time.
- Compensation: This is a paid position.
