As a Customer Marketing & Sustainability Strategy Intern, you will support strategic customer engagement programs, develop market and customer insights, explore AI-enabled research and planning tools, and contribute to initiatives that strengthen Ericsson's relationships with customers across North and Latin America. You will gain hands-on experience working with customer marketers, sustainability leaders, and business stakeholders while building valuable skills in customer strategy, business research, market intelligence, executive communications, and AI-enabled marketing. This internship is open to undergraduate students in junior or senior standing as well as MBA and graduate students. Project scope will be tailored to experience level.Join our Team What you will do:Customer & Market IntelligenceResearch customer priorities, telecommunications trends, sustainability developments, and competitive activity.Analyze customer, industry, and sustainability information to identify relevant insights and opportunities.Prepare briefings and reusable knowledge assets for customer engagements, executive meetings, workshops, and events.Strategic Programs & Business InitiativesSupport customer marketing, sustainability, and Corporate Responsibility initiatives across the Americas.Build project plans, stakeholder maps, trackers, and briefing materials to coordinate stakeholders and milestones.Research emerging customer challenges and opportunities, including energy efficiency and circularity, and support reporting.AI-Enabled Research & Process InnovationExplore and test AI-assisted workflows for research, customer intelligence, communications, presentations, and planning.Develop reusable prompts, templates, and best practices that improve productivity and output quality.Lead a summer innovation project applying AI to a real business challenge and present recommendations to leadership.Customer Engagement & Executive CommunicationsSupport customer meetings, executive briefings, workshops, and industry events.Prepare presentations, agendas, discussion guides, and post-event summaries.Translate complex industry and sustainability topics into clear content for executive, thought leadership, and customer-facing communications.Measurement & Program EffectivenessTrack and report on customer engagement activities, strategic initiatives, and business outcomes.Help improve data quality, contact management, audience segmentation, dashboards, and scorecards.Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and improve operational effectiveness across teams.Relevant skills The skills you bring:Actively enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s (preferred) program in Marketing, Communications, Business or Commerce or a related fieldStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsFamiliarity with digital marketing tools and platformsExperience in telecoms or IT is a plusMust have at least a 2.7+ GPA on a 4.0 scale or equivalent Actively enrolled on a full-time basis at an accredited 4-year college or university at the time of the internship Why join Ericsson?At Ericsson, you´ll have an outstanding opportunity.
