About the role#
As a People Specialist Intern, you will gain hands-on experience by supporting the employee lifecycle, HR operations, and workforce transitions. You will work alongside People Business Partners to assist with compliance activities and recurring team processes. This role offers exposure to organizational change and workforce planning while helping to improve the employee experience.
What you'll do#
- Support employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, data updates, workforce transitions, and offboarding.
- Assist with HR systems, reporting, and data requests.
- Collaborate with People Business Partners and specialists on employee questions, manager support, and special projects.
- Use AI tools like Copilot to simplify tactical processes, streamline routine activities, and summarize information.
- Help maintain accurate records and provide insights to stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master’s program in human resources, business, industrial-organizational psychology, organizational development, communications, data analytics, or a related field.
- A 2.7+ GPA on a 4.0 scale.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with HR systems, Power BI, or data reporting tools is a plus.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and judgment.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and time-sensitive deliverables.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools for research, analysis, and productivity.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to review data and identify themes.

- Term: Summer 2027 (12 weeks).
