About the role#
Pratt & Whitney is hiring an Electrical Engineering Intern for an on-site position in Goleta, California. This role is for a student returning for an internship in 2027. You will join the advanced RF hardware section to support the design and testing of electronic systems.
What you'll do#
- Design and test electronics of varying complexity.
- Work with engineers, program managers, and supply chain teams.
- Schedule tasks and provide project status updates.
- Support team members in the advanced RF hardware section.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Physics.
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- Hands-on experience testing electronic products using bench power supplies, signal/waveform generators, or oscilloscopes.
- Experience with schematic capture, block diagrams, and parts lists for complex electronics.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance (U.S. citizenship is required).

- Compensation: 42,000 USD to 88,000 USD per year.
