About the role#
This internship focuses on Systems Engineering within the Air Combat Training division. You will work with the platform systems engineering team on complex system of systems programs. The role provides exposure to multiple key technologies and allows you to participate in an Agile team environment.
What you'll do#
- Support system verification and validation activities.
- Perform system analysis across the full lifecycle, including concept, design, modeling, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
- Collect data and perform standard analysis to identify findings.
- Follow configuration processes and conduct functional and timeline analysis.
- Provide input on trade studies.
- Support requirement allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer needs into hardware and software specifications.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree program in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required.
- Experience with communication systems, navigation systems, and networks is preferred.
- Familiarity with cryptographic, datalink, networking, and command and control applications is preferred.
