About the role#
This co-op role supports continuous improvement and business excellence initiatives within our manufacturing environment. You will work across teams including Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering to identify ways to increase efficiency and streamline processes. This position provides hands-on experience in data analysis, project management, and change management.
What you'll do#
- Support continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and Business Excellence methodologies.
- Assist with process mapping, value stream mapping, and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Help develop and maintain project plans while tracking the progress of initiatives.
- Participate in Kaizen events, brainstorming sessions, and other improvement activities.
- Create and maintain dashboards, scorecards, visual management tools, and performance metrics.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer, Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Biomedical Engineering.
- Completion of, or current progress toward, your third year of undergraduate studies.
- A minimum GPA of 2.8.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio.
- Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.

- This position is based in Wilson, North Carolina.
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid co-op role with a rolling term.
