About the role#
This is a paid Quality Engineering Co-op position based in Cornelia, Georgia. You will work on-site as part of the Ethicon business, which focuses on medical technologies like surgical staplers, sutures, and energy devices. This program requires a commitment to complete three rotations.
What you'll do#
- Solve technical problems by applying your knowledge of engineering, materials, and mathematics.
- Analyze test data using statistical methods to identify and address manufacturing issues.
- Investigate nonconforming processes to document and resolve problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve existing processes.
- Manage document and specification change control updates.
- Gain insight into the full product lifecycle from initial design through assembly and post-launch stabilization.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current college student pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Mathematics, Chemistry, or a related field.
- You must be permanently authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship for an employment visa now or in the future.
