About the role#
The Commercial Finance Intern will join the Zurn Elkay team in Milwaukee to support financial operations and reporting. This role assists the Commercial Finance team with month end processes and performance analysis. You will report directly to the Senior Analyst of Commercial Finance.
What you'll do#
- Assist with month end close and reporting processes.
- Monitor the financial and operating health of the business.
- Analyze Go-To-Market and Business Unit performance.
- Compile and track data to evaluate key operational and strategic objectives.
- Research variances and identify trends in monthly and quarterly results.
- Collaborate with team members to build monthly forecasts.
- Help develop new tools that drive scalable analysis.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Commercial team.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Complete ad-hoc requests and special project analysis.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a 4-year degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong Excel skills, specifically with pivot tables and macros.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week during the summer.

- This internship is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
- The position is on-site and full-time.
- This is a Summer 2027 term.
