About the role#
We are hiring an HR Shared Service Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based at our headquarters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. You will work directly with our Shared Services team to support core human resources functions and gain exposure to various departments across the organization.
What you'll do#
- Complete assignments related to onboarding, off-boarding, benefits, HR system data entry, and reporting.
- Assist with the onboarding process for new hires.
- Respond to inquiries from employees, managers, and HR partners regarding policies and benefits via email, chat, and phone.
- Interface with internal teams including Talent Acquisition, Payroll, IT, Compensation, and HRIS to support employee needs.
- Resolve cases in a professional, customer-focused manner and escalate complex issues to the HR Shared Services Manager.
- Carry out HR tasks such as recruitment, workforce management, and weekly reporting.
- Contribute to various HRSS projects and other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited university, pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Prior experience with Workday is a plus.
