About the role#
The IT Business Systems Intern will gain hands-on experience with business processes and software development. You will work with our IT team to support the implementation of low-code and no-code business solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform. This role focuses on supporting sales order processing and customer support areas.
What you'll do#
- Design, configure, develop, and deploy Power Apps including Canvas and Model-driven apps.
- Build and automate workflows using Power Automate.
- Participate in Agile development cycles and team projects.
- Test and validate app features and data flows.
- Document business processes, user requirements, and technical specifications.
- Present project outcomes and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Apply lean thinking to identify and remove inefficiencies.
- Create and maintain business tools that improve team effectiveness and decision-making.
- Analyze AS-IS and TO-BE models to advocate for positive change.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of an undergraduate degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Power Platform tools like Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and Office 365 development.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Experience with workflow design and business process mapping is a plus.
