About the role#
Young Life is seeking a Student Staff member to join our mission. This position involves spiritual leadership, administrative support, and community engagement. You will work under the guidance of an area director to develop your ministry skills and personal character.
What you'll do#
- Lead teams and individuals in spiritual development.
- Raise financial support as directed and maintain good donor care practices.
- Participate in leadership with a team to conduct a Young Life club.
- Assist in office administration when necessary and assigned.
- Complete expense reports as necessary in a clear and timely fashion.
- Engage in contact work and help implement camping strategies for the ministry.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a college degree in a field such as Psychology, Sociology, Communications, Political Science, Philosophy, Human Resources, Business Administration, or Public Health.
- Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- A commitment to the Young Life Statement of Faith and the ability to serve as a Christian minister.
