About the role#
Student Staff II at Young Life provides an opportunity to gain field ministry experience through a combination of training and direct engagement. This role focuses on developing ministry skills, spiritual growth, and leadership capabilities under the guidance of an area director.
What you'll do#
- Participate in effective ministry through direct engagement in contact work, club, Campaigners, and camping strategies.
- Develop a yearly personal growth plan to foster a vibrant spiritual life through prayer, reflection, and community involvement.
- Model excellence in ministry activities for other leaders and team members.
- Recruit and train new leaders to build effective teams.
- Manage administrative tasks including expense reporting, office assistance, and goal setting.
- Raise financial support and maintain communication with donor partners.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program, preferably in Business Administration, Psychology, or Communications.
- Proven relational skills with both adolescents and adults.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all professional matters.
- Commitment to the Young Life Statement of Faith and the ability to serve as a Christian minister.
