About the role#
Student Staff I in NW Austin serves as an integral part of the local ministry team. This role focuses on spiritual development, leadership training, and direct engagement with adolescents to support the mission of proclaiming the Gospel. This is a full-time, paid position with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Develop a yearly personal growth plan to foster a vibrant spiritual life.
- Model excellence in contact work, club, Campaigners, and camping activities.
- Participate in leadership with a team to conduct Young Life club meetings.
- Raise financial support as directed and maintain donor care practices.
- Complete expense reports in a clear and timely fashion.
- Adhere to organizational policies regarding office administration and conduct.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program, with a preference for majors in Psychology, Communications, Human Resources, or Business Administration.
- Proven relational skills when working with both kids and adults.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Commitment to the Young Life Statement of Faith and the ability to serve as a minister of the Gospel.
