About the role#
Young Life is hiring a Student Staff member in Bozeman, Montana. This part-time, on-site role focuses on building relationships with high school students while developing leadership skills. You will work closely with the Area Director to support the High School Ministry Team and contribute to the overall mission of the organization. This position requires a commitment to personal spiritual growth and active participation in the ministry.
What you'll do#
- Build authentic relationships with high school students and prioritize reaching those far from Jesus.
- Participate in Club and Campaigners, including planning and preparation.
- Share the Gospel and introduce teenagers to Jesus Christ.
- Recruit, equip, and develop other leaders to build a strong team.
- Provide support to the High School Ministry Team through communication and project management.
- Assist with office administration tasks.
- Prioritize personal spiritual health through prayer, scripture, and church participation.
- Raise $6,000 per year in financial support.
- Work with the Area Director to establish and meet individual ministry metrics.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a college degree.
- Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Profess a belief in Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord.
- Subscribe to the statements and policies required of all Young Life staff.
