About the role#
Student Staff at Young Life learn to perform effective ministry through a combination of training and direct field experience. This role focuses on spiritual growth, leadership development, resource management, and direct engagement with the community.
What you'll do#
- Develop a yearly personal growth plan and participate in the spiritual life of the Young Life community.
- Lead teams and individuals in their spiritual development.
- Meet regularly with volunteer leaders and area leadership.
- Recruit and train new leaders to build a strong team.
- Model excellence in contact work, club, Campaigners, and camping.
- Raise financial support and maintain donor care practices.
- Communicate ministry updates to personal donor partners.
- Engage in all three levels of contact work.
- Conduct Young Life club and Campaigners discipleship ministry.
- Implement summer and school-season camping strategies.
- Assist with office administration and complete expense reports.
- Set yearly ministry and personal goals while adhering to all Young Life policies.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently pursuing a college degree.
- You must profess a belief in Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord.
- You must subscribe to the Young Life Statement of Faith.
- Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- An ability to maintain confidentiality.

- Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado.
- This is a part-time, paid position.
- The role operates on an on-site basis with a rolling term.
