About the role#
Young Life is seeking a part-time Student Staff member to serve in Wichita, Kansas. This role focuses on spiritual development, leadership, and direct ministry with adolescents. You will work under the supervision of an area director to grow in ministry skills and personal character.
What you'll do#
- Develop a personal growth plan that includes prayer, reflection, and spiritual disciplines.
- Lead teams and individuals in their spiritual development.
- Meet regularly with volunteer leaders and area leadership.
- Recruit and train new leaders to build a team that reflects the community.
- Raise financial support as directed and maintain donor relationships.
- Participate in conducting Young Life clubs, Campaigners, and camping strategies.
- Handle administrative tasks, including expense reports and office support, as needed.
What you'll need#
- You must be pursuing a college degree, with preferred majors in Psychology, Communications, Business Administration, or Sociology.
- Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- You must profess a belief in Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord and sign the Young Life Statement of Faith.

- This position is located in Wichita, Kansas.
- The work is on-site.
- This is a part-time, paid position.
- The anticipated annual salary range is $5,200 to $6,240, depending on education and experience.
