About the role#
Young Life Military offers a long-term internship for those who want to serve teens in a military community. You will work alongside experienced staff to lead Club Beyond, an outreach-focused ministry. This role involves building relationships with middle and high school students, modeling a life of faith, and fostering a supportive environment on a military installation.
What you'll do#
- Lead and conduct Club Beyond club meetings and small group ministry.
- Develop a 90-day personal growth plan to maintain a vibrant spiritual life.
- Attend weekly meetings with your supervisor and volunteer leaders.
- Recruit and train new volunteers to build a diverse leadership team.
- Assist with community outreach for unchurched teens and discipleship for believing teens.
- Communicate monthly updates to your personal donor partners.
- Discuss financial support and fundraising with your supervisor.
- Attend Chapel on the installation regularly.
What you'll need#
- You must have graduated high school at least 2 years ago.
- A deep love for Christ and for teens.
- Strong initiative and a teachable heart.
- Ability to communicate clearly.
- Experience or skills in small event planning.
- Willingness to raise a portion of your budget through personal support.
- Commitment to a relational ministry approach.
- High energy and a desire to serve.

- Compensation: This is a paid internship. Participants are responsible for raising a portion of their budget through personal support, ranging from $1,160 to $4,000 depending on the specific location and duration.
