About the role#
Young Life Military offers a long-term internship for individuals who want to serve and grow in their faith. You will work alongside an experienced staff member at a military installation. This role involves direct ministry with teens through clubs, Bible studies, and daily interaction. You will help create a community where military teens build friendships and find support.
What you'll do#
- Meet weekly with your supervisor to review ministry goals.
- Lead and participate in Club Beyond club meetings and small group sessions.
- Create a 90-day personal growth plan for your spiritual development.
- Attend Chapel on the installation and participate in volunteer leader meetings.
- Meet weekly with a volunteer to support their involvement.
- Recruit and train new leaders to build a diverse leadership team.
- Assist with community outreach efforts aimed at unchurched teens.
- Lead and equip volunteers for middle and high school ministry.
- Communicate monthly updates to your personal donor partners.
- Discuss financial support goals with your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- You must have graduated high school at least two years ago.
- A deep love for Christ and for teens.
- A teachable heart and strong initiative.
- Ability to communicate clearly.
- Experience or skills in small event planning.
- An energetic approach to ministry.
- Commitment to a relational ministry style.
- Willingness to raise part of your budget through personal support.

- This position is based in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
- This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship.
- The program operates on a rolling basis.
