About the role#
Young Life Military offers a long-term internship for those who want to serve and grow in their faith. You will work alongside an experienced staff member at a military installation to provide ministry for teens. This role focuses on building community and modeling a personal example of Christ. You will help create a space where teens can build friendships and find hope.
What you'll do#
- Meet weekly with your supervisor to review goals and ministry tools.
- Lead and participate in Club Beyond club meetings and small group sessions.
- Develop a 90-day personal growth plan for your spiritual life.
- Attend Chapel on the installation and volunteer leader meetings.
- Meet weekly with a volunteer to support their involvement.
- Learn to recruit and train new leaders to build a strong team.
- Assist with community outreach and equip volunteers for ministry.
- Communicate monthly with your personal donor partners.
- Discuss financial support goals with your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- You must have graduated high school at least 2 years ago.
- A deep love for Christ and for teens.
- Strong initiative and a teachable heart.
- Ability to communicate clearly.
- Experience or skills in small event planning.
- A commitment to a relational ministry approach.
- An energetic personality.
- Willingness to raise part of your budget through personal support.

- This position is located in Jber, Alaska.
- This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship.
- The program operates on a rolling basis.
