About the role#
Young Life Military offers an internship for individuals looking to grow in their faith while serving military teens. You will work alongside an experienced staff member to lead Club Beyond, an outreach program focused on middle and high school students. This role involves building community, modeling a personal example of faith, and creating a space where teens can develop friendships and find support.
What you'll do#
- Meet weekly with your supervisor to review ministry goals and team agendas.
- Lead and participate in Club Beyond club meetings and small group sessions.
- Develop a 90-day personal growth plan to foster your spiritual life.
- Attend Chapel on the installation and participate in volunteer leader meetings.
- Meet weekly with a volunteer to support their involvement in the ministry.
- Learn to recruit and train new leaders to build a diverse team.
- Develop community outreach initiatives to reach unchurched teens.
- Communicate monthly updates to your personal donor partners.
- Discuss financial support and fundraising strategies with your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- You must have graduated high school at least two years ago.
- A deep love for Christ and a desire to serve teens.
- Strong initiative and an energetic approach to your work.
- Ability to communicate clearly and a teachable heart.
- Experience or skills in small event planning.
- Commitment to a relational ministry approach and a willingness to raise part of your budget through personal support.

- This position is located in Alexandria, Virginia.
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship.
- The term is rolling.
- You will be expected to live near the community where you serve.
