About the role#
As a Gas Data Intern, you will analyze gas emergency response data to identify trends and support data-driven decisions. You will work with large datasets to improve operational efficiency and help enhance emergency response outcomes. This position starts on May 31, 2027, and offers the possibility of an extension based on business needs and your performance.
What you'll do#
- Run, clean, and validate the monthly overtime report.
- Update visuals for the finalized report in Power BI.
- Troubleshoot time-entry system issues by reviewing user screenshots.
- Create a report to review response times and compare performance before and after on-call scheduling changes.
- Identify dedicated storage locations for vac trailers.
- Establish a standardized process for the requesting, building, and deployment of vac trailers.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a student (Freshman or higher as of Fall 2027) in an accredited college or university.
- Pursuit of a degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Engineering (Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial).
- Ability to work full-time (up to 40 hours per week) during the summer and part-time (up to 20 hours per week) during the school year.
- Interest in working in the energy industry.
