This role assists with coordinating community events, supporting nonprofit partnerships, conducting research on local initiatives, and helping advance programs that strengthen relationships with local governments, businesses, and community organizations. Interns gain hands-on experience in stakeholder engagement, workforce development, and social investment efforts that help communities thrive.Typical intern responsibilities may include but are not limited to:Coordinate community engagement activities by supporting local events, partnerships, and outreach with nonprofits, chambers, and community organizations.Assist with foundation and volunteer programs, including tracking employee volunteerism and supporting grant and giving initiatives. Conduct research and prepare briefings on community needs, economic development opportunities, and key stakeholder priorities.Support communications efforts by drafting materials, assisting with media/event logistics, and helping ensure clear, consistent messaging.Help manage stakeholder relationships by coordinating meetings, maintaining contact lists, and supporting engagement with local leaders and partners.This position is for a May 24, 2027 start date.
