About the role#
The Business Transformation Intern supports the Customer Core program within the Products and Services team. This role contributes to a large-scale enterprise transformation focused on designing future-state customer, billing, and product processes. You will work alongside business leads and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into actionable deliverables. The position offers exposure to utility transformation, regulatory considerations, and the collaboration between business, technology, and data teams.
What you'll do#
- Support the development and refinement of detailed business process designs and documentation.
- Analyze and organize requirements, decisions, and dependencies across various workstreams.
- Track program gaps, including non-SAP solutions and cross-system integrations.
- Assist in the creation of training and change management materials, such as process guides and presentations.
- Coordinate inputs from product owners, subject matter experts, and tower leads to ensure team alignment.
- Support program reporting by preparing summaries and maintaining documentation repositories.
- Identify process inefficiencies or risks to contribute to continuous improvement.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior or higher at an accredited college or university.
- Pursuing a degree in Business, Energy, Sustainability, Technology, or Organization Management.
- Ability to work full-time (up to 40 hours per week) during the summer and part-time (up to 20 hours per week) during the school year.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to commute to the office in-person for our hybrid work model.
