About the role#
As a Corporate and Community Engagement (CCE) Intern, you will join our team to support the development and execution of programs that foster an inclusive workplace. You will report to the CCE Partner and work closely with the Chief Corporate and Community Engagement Officer. This role offers exposure to our CCE strategy, Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, and Employee Resource Group events. You will rotate through multiple groups to gain a comprehensive understanding of our department.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the planning and execution of employee programs, workshops, and learning opportunities.
- Support event logistics, including coordination, setup, and follow-up activities.
- Develop and update presentations, newsletters, communications, and talking points.
- Gather and organize information from employees and external partners.
- Manage the CCE calendar, schedule meetings, and draft meeting notes.
- Identify and implement process improvements to make programs more accessible and useful.
- Provide administrative support, including clerical duties, data entry, and processing paperwork.
- Complete an assigned CCE capstone project from ideation to deployment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Ability to listen effectively, capture key information, and identify themes.
- Capability to work independently or within a team environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and risks.
- Experience in compiling work documents and maintaining files.
