About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will work directly with consultants and analysts on real client assignments. This role offers exposure to the investment consulting practice, where you will help institutional investors manage investment complexity and risk. You will be based in our Montréal office on an on-site basis.
What you'll do#
- Assist clients with investment objectives, asset allocation, manager selection, and performance evaluation.
- Monitor investment managers, support custodian selection, and provide global research services.
- Collaborate within dedicated client teams to deliver a variety of consulting services.
- Help team members prepare and deliver client presentations.
- Participate in meetings with clients, insurance companies, and investment managers.
- Follow our professional excellence model by documenting and reviewing client deliverables.
- Identify ways to improve team processes and technology to increase efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Progress toward a Bachelor's Degree in actuarial mathematics, business, economics, finance, or a related field with significant quantitative coursework.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels.
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and within a team.
- Strong attention to detail and an ability to meet deadlines.
- A client-first approach and a desire to solve complex problems.
