    About the role#

    As a Health and Benefits Co-op, you will work alongside consultants on various client accounts. This role provides exposure to real client assignments, requiring you to analyze data, draw conclusions, and present results. You will build knowledge of healthcare finance and develop industry expertise while contributing to strategic projects.

    What you'll do#

    • Project-manage strategic projects to support consultants with day-to-day client service.
    • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to respond to client questions effectively.
    • Evaluate and compare vendor products, services, and contracts.
    • Design, distribute, and evaluate responses to surveys and RFPs.
    • Partner with consultants to perform financial analyses, including modeling plan design alternatives and calculating claims reserves.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in the Northeastern University co-op program.
    • Progress toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in public health, health administration, finance, or business administration.
    • Minimum overall GPA of 3.25.
    • Graduation date between May 2027 and May 2028.
    • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
    • Ability to work legally in the United States without visa sponsorship.

    • Location: Boston, Massachusetts.
    • Term: Winter 2027.
    • Modality: Hybrid (2-3 days per week in-office encouraged).
    • Compensation: $27-$30 per hour (eligible for overtime).
    • Employment type: Full-time.
