About the role#
As a Data Science Intern, you will support our data scientist team with product development and model research. You will assist in applying statistical knowledge, programming, and data modeling to identify patterns and business opportunities. This role involves working alongside data scientists and product engineers to develop and deploy machine learning models while gaining proficiency in new methodologies.
What you'll do#
- Acquire, assemble, and prepare datasets for analytic projects.
- Participate in data exploration and conceptual design for strategic initiatives.
- Work with product engineers to translate prototypes into new products, services, and features.
- Interpret findings and present outcomes to the team.
- Share and teach methodologies and approaches with other clients.
- Assist the development team in validating that methodologies are implemented correctly in production.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Rising junior or senior in a Bachelor’s degree program or an MBA student.
- Coursework in Statistics and Machine Learning.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Expertise in relational databases.
- Relevant majors include Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Public Health, or Health Administration.

- This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
