About the role#
As a Software Engineer Intern at Premier Inc., you will work with a team of engineers to build and maintain software products. These products are used by hospitals and healthcare providers to improve clinical outcomes and manage patient screenings. This position focuses on front-end UI development and requires a commitment to learning new technologies in a collaborative office environment.
What you'll do#
- Write code to develop new software products.
- Maintain and enhance existing software applications.
- Analyze requirements for product design.
- Create and execute automated and manual unit test cases.
- Collaborate daily with the software engineering team.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Current pursuit of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
- Coursework in software development.
- Experience with JavaScript and React.
- Ability to communicate effectively and adapt to changing priorities.

- Compensation: $52,000 - $78,000 per year.
