About the role#
As an Advisory Services Intern, you will work with a team of consultants to improve performance within healthcare systems. You will perform billable work for client engagements and contribute to internal project opportunities. This role involves identifying issues, forming hypotheses, and helping to implement change for our clients.
What you'll do#
- Analyze data to evaluate potential solutions and reach conclusions.
- Prepare presentation materials and reports for client audiences.
- Assist in the implementation of recommended improvements.
- Participate in interviews to clarify project objectives and document client needs.
- Learn and use internal technologies and services.
- Network with colleagues across the practice and participate in internal development activities.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or GED. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Experience in healthcare, business, or finance.
- An understanding of risk management practices.
- Demonstrated interest in healthcare performance improvement.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment and manage changing priorities.
- Proficiency with analytical tools such as Excel, Tableau, or statistical software like R, Python, or SAS is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid, remote position.
- The term is rolling.
- You must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods and operate computer software effectively.
