About the role#
We are looking for a Software Engineer Intern to join the High Volume Solutions team for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, 10-week paid internship. You will work on real-world projects, learn from experienced engineers, and gain hands-on experience in software development within a healthcare technology environment. The program includes structured coaching, networking opportunities, and access to company leadership.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment of features.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that follows established standards.
- Identify and resolve software defects and performance issues.
- Document technical designs, processes, and procedures.
- Engage in team meetings, code reviews, and collaborative activities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Strong foundational knowledge of software development principles and data structures.
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language, such as Java, C++, Python, or C#.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
