About the role#
Young Life is hiring a Student Staff I to join our team in Spokane, Washington. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position. As part of our mission to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, this role requires employees to sign a Statement of Faith and profess a belief in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord. You will work under the supervision of an area director to develop ministry skills and personal spiritual maturity.
What you'll do#
- Develop a yearly personal growth plan to foster a vibrant spiritual life.
- Lead teams and individuals in spiritual development.
- Recruit and train new leaders to build a leadership team.
- Raise financial support and maintain donor care practices.
- Conduct Young Life club and discipleship ministry with a team.
- Participate in summer and school-season camping strategies.
- Assist with office administration and manage expense reports.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a college degree, ideally in Communications, Psychology, or Business Administration.
- Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality.

- Compensation: The hourly rate for this position ranges from $17.13 to $22.10 based on education and experience.
