About the role#
As a Pension Outsourcing Intern, you will support our Retirement team by providing general administration and assistance with defined benefit plans. You will work under the guidance of senior analysts to handle recurring tasks and project work. This is a paid, full-time internship opportunity available for the Winter, Summer, or Fall 2027 terms.
What you'll do#
- Perform routine plan administration tasks for clients, including benefit calculations and data updates.
- Assist with the preparation of benefit statements.
- Work with team members to ensure accurate and timely service delivery.
- Maintain documentation and work papers to support audit trails.
- Participate in team meetings and training activities to build your knowledge of pension plan administration.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university program focused on mathematics, actuarial science, statistics, economics, or finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
- Fluency in both French and English, as you will communicate with stakeholders and manage documentation in both languages.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Interest in solving problems and sharing solutions.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Montréal, Quebec.
- The position follows a hybrid work model, with an expectation to be in the office three days per week.
