About the role#
As a Pension Outsourcing Analyst, you will join our Retirement team to provide administration support for defined benefit plans. This is a full-time, paid position based in Boston for the Summer 2026 term. You will work on-site, collaborating with senior analysts and actuaries to manage client retirement programs.
What you'll do#
- Perform routine and recurring plan administration tasks for defined benefit plans, including benefit calculations and annual data updates.
- Work cooperatively with team members to ensure unified service delivery.
- Serve as a direct contact for clients’ human resources personnel to answer questions and resolve issues.
- Develop a thorough understanding of plan designs, including benefit formulas, options, and eligibility criteria.
- Adhere to plan documents and government regulations while administering client plans.
What you'll need#
- Completion of a Summer 2026 internship in Pension Outsourcing with WTW.
- A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, or a related field with significant quantitative coursework.
- Solid mathematical and analytical skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, with a focus on Excel.
- Authorization to work legally in the United States indefinitely without requiring visa sponsorship.
