About the role#
We are hiring a Quality Assurance Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This role provides hands-on experience within our Business Technology division. You will work alongside our development teams to support system reliability and gain exposure to the insurance industry through project-based work.
What you'll do#
- Create detailed test cases based on business and technical requirements.
- Perform functional, functional integration, and regression testing.
- Write and execute automated test scripts using relevant tools.
- Manage test data in collaboration with business units and development teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Prepare reports and documentation to communicate testing outcomes to stakeholders.
- Present a capstone summary of your project accomplishments and skill development.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a rising sophomore, junior, or senior in college.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.5.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
- Ability to work 38.75 hours per week.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
