About the role#
This 10-week internship offers an opportunity to join our IT Business Unit. You will work with business and technology teams to analyze current processes and explore how Artificial Intelligence, automation, and digital solutions can improve business outcomes. You will gain hands-on experience with requirements gathering, workflow documentation, and the design of AI-powered agents.
What you'll do#
- Partner with IT stakeholders to evaluate processes and identify ways to improve efficiency.
- Analyze data to find trends, bottlenecks, and areas for optimization.
- Recommend ways to use AI and automation to streamline workflows.
- Build and test AI solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio.
- Present your findings, recommendations, and business cases to project teams and leadership.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising undergraduate senior majoring in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Coursework or project experience related to AI, process improvement, or automation.
- Experience designing, building, or testing virtual assistants, chatbots, or AI agents.
- Ability to complete the full 10-week program from May 24, 2027, to July 30, 2027.
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027.
- Locations: Kansas City, Missouri; Omaha, Nebraska; or Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
- Work modality: Hybrid schedule with in-office work Monday through Wednesday and remote options on Thursday and Friday.
- You must be able to work from one of these office locations without company-provided housing or relocation assistance.
